The Probe fully leverages the Nimsoft bus architecture to scale alarm collection and delivery to UMP dashboards. The probe supports many to one management of Vblocks in a centralized probe deployment or leveraging distributed Robots for geographic deployments using the Nimsoft architecture.
“Converged View” correlates virtual to physical topology from vCenter and VCE VisionTM software into a unified view of all components within a Vblock System chassis.
“Logical To Physical” – A key management function on Converged Infrastructure is combining logical and physical management of components.
“Health Status” exposes Vblock System overall health status, along with Vblock System component level health status to facilitate monitoring and root cause analysis of any issues associated with the Vblock System.
“Root Cause” displays a visual domain (Compute, Storage and Network) and component topology view with a simple color-coding of components or entire Vblock System.
“Intelligent Alarms” tag component alarms with subsystem information to help identify the exact component affected.
“Component Zoom” displays rack location, rack unit location, serial number and version number information from the Converged View tree.
