Laser, thru guy to blow up car in Background -

This comp was created with a piece of Photoshop art for thelaser combined with a Cult Effects effect for the heat distortion, the hit combinesa smoke puff from Pyro 2 with a fire wipe and shockwave from Pyromania 1. The laserhit on the car is a fireball from the Visual Effects CD and the car explosionis included on Pyromania Pro. Elements used: FIRE020, EXPL001, EXPL006

Fire Morph Title -

This comp shows the result of take several still frames of fire from Pyromania 2 and doing a simple morph between the frames. This differs from the process used to create the Pyromania Fire title at the top of this page. Elements used: FIRE007

Fire Wipe Example -

This composite shows the result of taking two different scenes and doing a Fire Wipe between them. The alpha is used to do the simple wipe from the first shot to the second shot, then the Fire Wipe animation is added on top of the whole thing using a Screen Transfer Function. Firewipes are on many of the Products. Elements used: FIRE020

Flame wipe Example -

This composite shows the result of taking two different scenes and doing a Flame Wipe between them. The alpha is used to do the simple wipe from the first shot to the second shot, then the Flame Wipe animation is added on top of the whole thing using a Screen or Add Transfer Function. Elements used: FIRE006

City on Fire -

Example of compositing fire from Pyro 1 into a city plate. Interactive light is added on the building in the mid background. Elements used: FIRE001

Flaming Meteor -

Example of compositing fire from Pyro 2 and stretching it to appear as a flaming meteor. Elements used: FIRE009

Los Angeles Bombed!

This example shows the use of the daylight explosion over an L.A. background (available on the Visual Effects CD) plus a standard lens flare plug in. Elements used: MUSH009

Mist Nightmare

In Kurt Wileys' SECRET OF THE SAPPHIRES, the storys' heroine encounters unexplained phenomena in the 3D After Effects composition. Maya PaintFx, Particular, BCC, Lux, Twixtor, and 7 VCE fog/smoke elements add the erie atmosphere.
