VCE Opens New Solutions Center In Massachusetts
Marlborough, MA – October 12, 2011 – VCE today opened its new Solutions Center in Marlborough, Mass., designed to help VCE customers and partners transform IT operations through a converged infrastructure. At the heart of the new facility is the full line of VCE VblockTM platforms, which incorporate leading technologies from VCE parent companies EMC, Cisco, VMware and Intel.
- The new VCE Massachusetts Solution Center features VCE Vblock infrastructure platforms, which are preconfigured with leading compute, network, storage, management and virtualization technologies. VCE Vblock infrastructure platforms are the foundation of cloudbased computing models that simplify IT and enable companies to more quickly and costeffectively deploy cloud applications to meet business challenges
- The new VCE Solutions Center is designed to allow partners and customers to develop “proof-of-concepts” with VCE engineers that are tailored for their specific needs and where they can validate the technology before deploying it in their own environments.
- In addition, the VCE Solutions Center features state-of-the-art conference rooms along with a Cisco Telepresence room, enabling executives and customers from around the world to virtually interact with the technologies and each other via video conferencing.
- As part of the grand opening celebration, the recent championship trophies of the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics were on display for employees, customers and partners. This rare display symbolizes VCE’s commitment to excellence and its bringing together of championship technologies from EMC, Cisco, VMware and Intel.
