VCE Holds Worldwide Partner Town Hall Meeting
RICHARDSON, TEXAS – October 4, 2011 – VCE today detailed new partner initiatives at a worldwide partner town hall webcast hosted by VCE President Frank Hauck. Hauck acknowledged the efforts and evolution of VCE’s growing partner community this year in driving market and revenue growth, and highlighted VCE partner program milestones including:
- A standardized order process for Vblock™ Infrastructure Platforms that now flows through VCE distribution partners.
- The training of more than 1600 partner employees on VCE products, solutions and services so far in 2011.
- The opening of a new state-of-the-art VCE Solutions Center in Marlborough, MA where partners can collaborate with VCE developers and customers.
Cisco’s Edison Peres, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Channels, and EMC’s Gregg Ambulos, Senior Vice President, Global Channel Sales, offered praise for the progress made by the VCE partner community and pledged continued support from the VCE parent companies.
VCE Executives Tim Page, Senior Vice President, Global Sales, and D Martin, Vice President, Channel Sales, outlined enhancements to the VCE partner program that streamline operations and simplify order processing and management. The evolution of the VCE Partner Program is aimed at supporting rapid partner revenue growth and continued VCE market momentum. Page and Martin also provided an overview of the new VCE Solution Center in Marlborough, MA. The fully equipped Solution Center includes a proof of concept lab, customer briefing rooms and demo areas that will be available for partner use.
As VCE continues to scale operations, additional investments will expand the VCE product portfolio. Todd Pavone, Executive Vice President, Products & Solutions, presented VCE plans to enhance product, solution and service offerings to strengthen partner offerings and broaden coverage into adjacent market opportunities.
