VCE Strengthens Executive Team to Accelerate Growth

Richardson, TX – January 10, 2012 – VCE today appointed two industry veterans to leadership roles. Nina Hargus will assume the role of Chief Marketing Officer and Kristi Hummel joins as VP of Human Resources. Both women will play an integral role on Chief Executive Officer Praveen Akkiraju’s leadership team as the company continues to advance IT transformation and the Converged Infrastructure market.

Hargus is an 11-year veteran of EMC, where she most recently served as Vice President of Global Services Marketing. She has an accomplished track record at EMC for driving strategic solutions and services. Prior to joining EMC, Hargus held roles in marketing, product management and engineering planning at Compaq and Digital Equipment Corporation.

Hummel also joins VCE from investor-company EMC, where she led Human Resources Strategy & Operations. In that role she drove the strategy for HR transformation as well as Global Employment Branding and HR Communications initiatives. Prior to that, Hummel was responsible for providing thought leadership and talent strategies for more than 7000 employees in EMC's Professional Services business.
